He may decide by next week it's for the birds..but he make take off with it! If he keeps showing interest, take him into potty around every hour or so...he'll get it! Don't be disappointed if he loses interest in the next week or two! Zane trained right at 2 and Cutter was probably 2 or 2 1/2yrs--- great pics...love the hat!! My boys LOVED sidewalk chalk too!!!Cow Pies & Mud Pieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15180099139541821928noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5995850097097193964.post-3264473164191415262009-09-03T19:37:49.879-05:002009-09-03T19:37:49.879-05:00Sorry, no potty advice. I was at that class in Wichita with ya but I didn't really get anything out of it darn it. Oh well!! As for potty training, I always felt like it was NEVER going to take effect but after they did figure it out, I looked back and thought "that wasn't so bad". The key is patience. Both of my boys were trained right around age 3. Good Luck.Jennifer Turnernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5995850097097193964.post-27112133244278131112009-09-02T14:53:11.632-05:002009-09-02T14:53:11.632-05:00Thank you SO MUCH for all of the advice, Katelin! ...Thank you SO MUCH for all of the advice, Katelin! I love ...so cute! he's a lil' heartbreaker. I love the hat~<br /> As for the potty training..... I think it was about that age when Paxon started showing interest, but it wasn't until just this JULY when he was actually "potty trained" ie; wearing underwear ALL the time (even at night) and going completely by himself. I think you're doing all the right things, by just getting excited with him, showing him what it's all about and having fun with it while having no expectations (or no pressure for him). Paxon went through times where he was really interested and then times where all he wanted was his diaper. Barrett will do it when he's ready with some gentle encouragement. This is the beginning of learning how. If he wants to stand up and aim, throw some cheerios in the big toilet and tell him to 'squirt' them. OR have him "sink" pieces of tiolet paper.... FUN! FUN!KBHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04879654413097659251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5995850097097193964.post-62439130334688540192009-09-02T11:44:45.437-05:002009-09-02T11:44:45.437-05:00I have a feeling those pictures are going to show ...I have a feeling those pictures are going to show up at AFTERGLOW!!!
