We've been working on this for the past week,
and he's got it down just in time for his party this weekend!

Flashback Friday~40 weeks

One year ago today...I was 39 weeks, 5 days pregnant with Barrett
Our due date was January 12th, 2008
Little did I know, that one year ago today...
I wouldn't be going into labor anytime soon.

As Barrett's first birthday quickly approaches, I've been doing a lot of thinking back to one year ago at this time. It's amazing to look back at where I was and see how much our lives have changed since this time last year. More looking back to come, as Barrett's "birthday week" begins!

Let's start the NEW YEAR off with some laughs! I'm not really big on resolutions, so I didn't officially make any...I just want 2009 to be full of family, friends, love and laughter!

With Barrett's 1st birthday just around the corner (January 18th), he is at such a FUN age! He will certainly keep our 2009 full of laughter! I think I can already tell he gets his humor from his daddy and Uncle Bobby! He knows when he does something funny, and he loves the attention!

We have this olive green plastic tray we keep on our ottoman. It's just a good place for drinks, remotes, etc.

This afternoon Barrett was carrying it around the living room. I don't generally like him to play with it, but he found a fun trick he could do with it...
