Barrett loves babies. It's so cute to watch him with them.

When his cousin, Jones, was here the end of May, he had a great time playing with him.

These pictures make me {happy}

Then I REALLY start to miss my brother and his family...and it makes me sad.

I wish everyday that Brian and Sarah will be able to move back to Kansas soon.
Barrett needs to have his cousins closer. We MISS them too much!

We miss that quick 3-hour drive to Olathe to spend the weekend with them.
We used to do it often.

More lost photos from Memorial Day weekend...

On Sunday, we spent the day at Mom and Dad's.

Cooking out and hanging around the pool.

The sun was out, we were having fun, and then....

BAM! BIG STORM!!!

It got really dark outside, and we watched from the sunroom....

then it cleared up and we enjoyed TWO rainbows across the field behind Gigi & Papa's house.

The guys were watching the deer out in the fields along the river...

As Barrett would say... "Ta-Da"

No pictures of ME from the weekend! Jeesh, I've got to get better at that.

I WILL (try to) do better on family vacation!

{sweet & juicy}

The temps are rising.

We go outside to play at 9 am, and we're sweaty.

Just like that, we went from cool breezes and windows open to AC on.

It's official...
The start of summer is just around the corner.

Barrett's already re-discovered a {sweet & juicy} summer favorite.

Our second watermelon of the season. 
 Too bad it was raining when we cut into this one, so we had to enjoy it inside.

There will be many, many more to come.
