We can't believe it either...

our baby boy is ONE

We are so proud of you Barrett Russell! And we love you so very much! This has been the sweetest and best year of our lives and we can't wait to continue to watch you grow and change. You are such a good baby boy and you fill our home with so much love, joy and laughter. You are turning into a sweet little man, and we look forward to all that is to come in your second year!

Barrett is being baptized this morning at church and then all of our family is going out for pizza. The weather is beautiful here this weekend, so we might take our little birthday boy to the park to feed the duckies this afternoon. He is having such a special birthday weekend! Thanks to everyone who's been a part of it. We love you all!

I put the following videos on dvd to play at Barrett's party. It was fun to look back over the year's photos and put them to music. I'm looking forward to making a 'birthday video' every year for Barrett. I think it will be neat to watch them when he's older...a little re-cap to each year.
The song on this first one isn't what I originally had...when I loaded it to YouTube, I lost my songs (Let them be Little, Billy Dean & Everything, Michael Buble) and this is the only one they had that fit the video length. It sounds like a sweet song, but I'm not exactly sure what it's about. * edited to say: I just had time to listen to this whole song...it is sweet, but kinda sad! I would like to have something happier for Barrett's pictures. If you know how to add your own music (itunes playlist) to YouTube videos, let me know!
