I was NOT on the ball with party planning this year.
It sneaks up on my every year, with Christmas and New Years just before, and I usually design and print the invites before Christmas.
But this year, it really got by me! I knew I wanted to do a dinosaur theme, but I didn't get the invites designed til the last minute.
I cruised the web for ideas, and found WAY too many cute things!

It was overwhelming...and my hubby thinks I'm crazy when I go into party-planning mode.
So, I really kept it all pretty simple. He doesn't think so, but I did!
The dino cake was the most fun!!
My cake lady (the lady that makes all the smash cake for my client's 1yr sessions)
made us a small white cake, so that we could decorate it ourselves.
I love coming up with cake ideas, and Justin always makes my vision a reality! He's so talented!
All I did was bake the cupcakes and place all the rocks.
We used this site {A Baked Creation} as a tutorial.

Thanks to my sister-in-law for helping me cut out all the cupcake toppers and the banner on her Cricut!

I need sleep...
