Building a "no-man"

We finally had a day when it wasn't so blustering cold, and we were able to take Barrett out to play! We got all bundled up and ventured out into the snow. The wind wasn't blowing, and the sunshine felt so good!

He wasn't scared to walk around in the snow at all. Some of the drifts by our driveway were pretty deep though...almost to his knees. I was afraid he was going to loose a boot every time he took a step through it. He would pick up handfuls of snow and say "cooold." Of course, he wanted to make a "no-man."

We hope your first time playing in the snow, and building a snowman was all you ever dreamed, Little Bear! One of these winters, you'll be sledding down big hills with Daddy! He's like a "big kid" when it comes to playing in the snow. Just wait!

  1. Oh my goodness that mini snowman is just the cutest thing I've ever seen. Looks like he had a good time.

We are expecinting a few inches of the white stuff tomorrow night into Thursday. Although I don't think I'll be building any snowman any time soon - the highs have only been in the teens since New Years and expect to remain that way until early next week. Brrrrrr!

  2. How cute is he all bundled up?!! Love it!! Some of my favorite pics are of the kids in the snow!! However, I only have a handful since we don't get snow on a regular basis here in the desert! HA HA HA! Cracking myself up this morning obviously! :) The tiny snowman is too cute...I love how Barrett is toting him around!! Too funny!

It was so great to see you last week! I may give you a call today about your blurb book! I want to make one this year and want some guidance!! Happy Thursday!
